Effective Wednesday, June 26, 2013 (weather permitting), construction crews will begin the installation of ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act) compliant ramps and paint striping at numerous locations on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive. Current traffic routes on Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive and all side streets will remain available for the duration of this work. The work will be ongoing until July 26, 2013.
WE URGE YOU TO USE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING THROUGH THIS CONSTUCTION WORK.
The Martin Luther King, Jr. Drive Rehabilitation project from Interstate 90 to E. 105th Street will replace roadway pavement, curb, sidewalk and substandard drainage structures; will install ADA compliant ramps and pedestrian crossings, and upgrade parking and signage. The $3.4 million project is funded by the Ohio Public Works Commission Issue 1 funds and City of Cleveland General Obligation Bonds. The project is scheduled for completion by August 2013.
Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this important public improvement project.
