Today, Mayor Jackson presented Bob Grace, Chairman and President of the Browns Backers with a proclamation declaring November 18 – 24, 2013 as Brown and Orange Week in the City of Cleveland

“On behalf of the citizens of the City of Cleveland, I am honored to offer to designate the week of November 18, 2013 through November 24, 2013 as Brown and Orange Week in the City of Cleveland. Brown and Orange Week is a way for Clevelanders to show support for the Cleveland Browns as they gear up to play their longtime rivals the Pittsburgh Steelers on Sunday, November 24, 2013 at FirstEnergy Stadium. The Browns vs. Steelers rivalry is a Cleveland tradition celebrated by both new and longtime fans of the Cleveland Browns. I urge all citizens to take this opportunity to demonstrate their pride and support for our Cleveland Browns.”
