Effective Friday, December 13, 2013, at 6:00 a.m., two southbound lanes on E. 9th Street at Euclid Avenue will be closed for a major building rehabilitation project for approximately eight months. One lane of southbound traffic will be maintained at all times. This work will not affect the northbound travel lanes. A barrier protected pedestrian walkway will be provided on the west side of E. 9th St.
This work zone will be adjusted by August 1, 2014. At that time two lanes will be open for southbound traffic. All work on this project is expected to be completed by July 1, 2015.

This seems totally reasonable to let CRM block up two lanes of traffic on a major thoroughfare for 8 months!!!
