As of 8:00 a.m. Friday, January 3rd, snow removal crews will begin focusing their efforts on residential streets. A parking ban is still in effect on designated city streets, identified by red and white parking ban signs. This allows snow plows to clear streets curb-to-curb. Residents are encouraged to stay off the streets as much as possible for their own personal safety and to allow snow plows greater access to the city’s roadways.
For those who must travel, use caution, allow extra time, and remember not to “block the box” at intersections. Residents are urged to take proper precautions to keep themselves safe in the cold weather and while shoveling snow. Dress in layers to keep warm and minimize exposure of skin. Check on neighbors, friends and family who may need assistance and bring pets indoors.
Residents with snow removal concerns should call (216) 664-2510.
