A Message from Martin L. Flask

I’ve had the honor and privilege of serving the citizens of the City of Cleveland for more than 40 years.  I started my career as a young police officer, rose through the ranks and retired as Chief of Police.  Following my retirement, I had the good fortune to be appointed Security Manager at Cleveland Hopkins International Airport and in 2006, Director of Public Safety.

On Monday, February 10, 2014, I accepted a new role as Executive Assistant to Cleveland Mayor Frank G. Jackson. The Mayor will task me with specific projects that he believes are important to the future of our community.

I look forward to the challenge. I ask that you continue to support our Safety Forces and their outstanding leadership teams.  They are ready, willing and able to provide the quality of service our community deserves.
