City of Cleveland’s Winter Weather Update – February 18, 2014 at 9:00 AM

As of Tuesday morning, the City of Cleveland has 38 snow plows and 10 road graders servicing main roads and secondary mains. At this time, we have 7,600 tons of salt available.

Updates:

  • The Director of Public Safety has issued a parking ban and it will remain in effect until further notice.
  • Please park off-street whenever possible.  This allows plows to have curb-to-curb access and clear streets of snow more effectively.
  • Stay off the streets as much as possible for your own personal safety and to allow snow plows greater access to the city’s roadways.
  • If you must travel, use caution and remember not to “block the box” at intersections.
  • Allow additional time for travel.
  • Pay attention to local news for weather advisories and visit http://www.city.cleveland.oh.us/ and clecityhall.com for additional information from the City of Cleveland.
