Division of Streets Pothole Repair Update 3/04/2014

Note: hot asphalt repairs were made today, March 4, 2014

Repairs in Progress:

  • West 130th Street (Bellaire Road to Lorain Avenue south bound lanes)
  • West 25th Street (Lorain Avenue to Detroit Avenue north bound lanes)
  • East 116th Street  (Buckeye Road to Fairhill Road)
  • Seville Road (East 160th Street to Johnston Parkway)
  • Miles Avenue (Broadway Avenue to East 131st Street)
  • Caine Avenue (East 131st Street to East 146th Street)

Repair Completions: 

  • West 130th Street (Bellaire Road to Lorain Avenue north bound lanes)
  • West 25th Street (Lorain Avenue to Detroit Avenue south bound lanes)
  • Green Road (Euclid Avenue to Ridgehill Road)
  • St Clair Avenue (East 49th Street to East 55th Street)
  • East 9th Street (Carnegie Avenue to Orange Avenue)
  • Broadway Avenue (Orange Avenue to Carnegie Avenue)
  • Broadway Avenue (East 9th Street to East 30th Street)
  • East 108th Street (Magnolia Drive to East Boulevard)

To date, the City of Cleveland has used 564 tons of hot asphalt and 638 tons of cold patch asphalt on pothole repairs.

  1. Please look at Fulton! It looks like the US troops just bombed Iraq. You have to use all four lanes to navigate Fulton if you don’t want to realign you car each month. Really unbelievable! This city won’t secure the RNC or any other national conventions. Can you imagine if you were the event planner visiting to select this city and was rattled from you seat from the Airport all the way into the city? My brother in law is in the business and he does recon for events up to a year before they arrive depending on the size of the event.

  2. Please oh please do the corner of Broadway Avenue and Union Avenue-the entire three corner area. It is a nightmare when traffic is coming into town. Also E. 55th just south of 490 in front of scrap yard-curb lane heading north-another accident waiting to happen.
