Shine a Light on Crime, one Block at a Time
On Tuesday, August 5, 2014, Cleveland residents are invited to participate in Mayor Jackson’s 31st annual “Night out Against Crime”. The “Night out Against Crime” is an opportunity for Clevelanders to come together in order to shine a light on crime, one block at a time and take a stand against violence and other types of crimes in their communities.
Events will be held throughout the city featuring police and public safety vehicles, free health screenings, refreshments and activities for the entire family! The main event will occur at Kerruish Park on August 5, from 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm. In addition to the main event, various locations throughout the city’s neighborhoods will hold their own “Night out Against Crime” from 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm.
