Emergency Medical Service Graduates 15 Cadets

On Wednesday, October 8th, 2014 the Division of Emergency Medical Service graduated 15 Paramedics from the  EMT Cadet Training Academy. Following their graduation, the cadets will continue intensive  training on an ambulance with Field Training Officers.

The new class of paramedics will provide staffing to cover vacancies created by attrition. This  will maintain the number of ambulances available to handle medical emergencies at 18. This  number was increased at the beginning of 2013 from 15 to 18 ambulances to meet the increasing  demands for service.
