The Department of Public Works began transitioning snow removal efforts into the residential streets at 5:00 pm on Saturday, February 21, 2015. As of 8:00 am this morning, the Department is reporting that 98 percent of all city streets have been serviced.
The Department will continue to operate on the city’s secondary and residential streets in order to address those areas that may require additional work.
There are currently 42 pieces of snow removal equipment operating in the city until 8:00 am on Tuesday morning. Snow removal may continue past this date and time if needed.
The City of Cleveland currently has 3,800 ton of salt available with additional deliveries of 500-750 tons expected daily. If you have a snow emergency please call 216.664.2510.
