The City of Cleveland will not hold a press conference this afternoon.
The City and its partners will continue to monitor the city with the expectation that all will remain peaceful. The first amendment rights of those wishing to lawfully express their thoughts and views will be supported. Actions that cross the line will not be tolerated.
Mayor Frank G. Jackson and Cleveland Police Chief Calvin D. Williams continue to thank those protesters and demonstrators who are responsible and considerate in exercising their First Amendment rights; and further, encourage the public to come downtown, cheer for our sporting activities, and enjoy our great city.
