Healthy Meals for all Youth Ages 5-18
The City of Cleveland Division of Recreation announced today that summer meals will be made available to all children at city recreation centers and other partnering locations.
Free meals will be served Monday – Friday to all children 18 years of age and under or persons over 18 who are determined by the state or local public educational agency to be mentally or physically disabled.
“School meals are the primary source of nutrition for many of our children and there is a void when school recesses for the summer,” said Mayor Frank G. Jackson.
“This program fills the void by offering children and teens easy access to meals in more than 80 locations throughout the City.”
