The City of Cleveland is looking for qualified applicants to fill one seat on the Civilian Police Review Board.
The Civilian Police Review Board receives and reviews complaints alleging misconduct by members of the Cleveland police force. It then recommends a resolution to the complaint. Investigations of police misconduct are conducted by the Office of Professional Standards, an independent City of Cleveland agency established for the purpose of investigating non-criminal complaints filed by members of the public against sworn and non-sworn Division of Police employees.
The board position has a term of 4 years beginning August 8, 2017.
Requirements: Persons applying to fill a vacancy on the CPRB cannot be employed currently as a law enforcement officer and cannot be a current or former employee of the Cleveland Division of Police. Also, such persons cannot be currently employed by the City of Cleveland or by any public agency having a connection with the City of Cleveland including county agencies and community development corporations.

- Compensation for board members is $7,200/year.
