The City of Cleveland’s Division of Streets has released its list of resurfacing projects for 2017.
The number of streets to be resurfaced is an increase over previous years, thanks to Mayor Frank G. Jackson’s enhanced budget made possible by the passage of Issue 32. Nearly 140 streets have been slated for resurfacing and 62 have already been completed. The streets to be resurfaced were selected as part of a long process involving ratings by an expert streets consultant, Cleveland City Council and the Division of Streets.
In the video above, Assistant Director of Public Works Randy Scott talks about the list and how it was compiled.
