Mayor Jackson Issues Statement Opposing Repeal of Clean Power Plan

Mayor Frank G. Jackson yesterday issued a statement opposing with the repeal of the Clean Power Plan:

“The Trump Administration’s decision to repeal President Obama’s Clean Power Plan was the wrong decision and I disagree with it. This decision threatens the health and safety of families and communities by worsening climate change and increasing dangerous air pollution. Moving forward with our Cleveland Climate Action Plan, I remain committed to ensuring cleaner air, a stronger economy, and a healthier future for generations to come.”
