PHOTOS: City of Cleveland Honors Ulysses Glen, Founder of East Side Daily News for Black History Month

The City of Cleveland’s Black History Month celebration honored African American figures in media at the “Building a Sense of Community in Media” ceremony on Tuesday, Feb. 12.

The ceremony honored Ulysses Glen of East Side Daily News, a community newspaper serving the City of Cleveland’s East Side. The ceremony also included a panel discussion with local media professionals.

This was one of several events organized by the Black History Month planning committee to honor the outstanding accomplishments of African Americans in Cleveland.

The City of Cleveland’s Black History Month events are free and open to the public.
