Beginning November 17, 2021, weather permitting, the City will start concrete repairs on Rocky River Drive from Lorain Avenue to McKinley Avenue. A portion of the street will be closed, one lane of traffic will be maintained north bound. A complete closure is not expected to occur. No on-street parking will be permitted for the duration of the project in the affected areas and no parking signs will be posted.
The project will be broken up into two phases. Phase 1 consists of concrete repairs from Munn Road south to Lorain Road and is expected to last approximately 3 weeks. Phase 2 consists of concrete repairs from Munn Road north to McKinley Avenue and is expected to last 2 weeks.
DETOUR ROUTE – Phase 1:
North on McKinley Avenue, East on South Marginal Road, South on Warren Road, West on Lorain Road to Rocky River Drive.
The project includes repairing broken concrete pavement and adjusting sunken or damaged utility castings. The work will take place during the hours of 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The concrete repair project is expected to complete by the end of December 2021.
